Thought I would share this from my blog on TSN: Very nice opening day win for the Packers .Let's break it down shall we. The Good: What a start for Aaron Rodgers.... so much for all the naysayers criticism . Passer rating of 115 for his first start and an 81% completion percentage.Keep in mind the Pack should have had another touchdown. Ryan Grant started slow but had a solid game...give him a couple weeks and watch out! Chad Clifton gave J.Allen nothing...zero ..zip. How about AJ Hawk flying around the field tonight along with both are safeties. Greg Jennings is a play maker plain and simple. The Bad:Still need a little work in the red zone...that last drive at the end of the first half needs to be a touchdown. Where the he!! is Kregg Lumpkin on goal line??? Brandon Jackson was inept last night and having in as the third down back scares me...worst guy on the team at picking up blitz's and he's in as the third down back ? The Ugly :Penalties...and more stupid penalties. That has to be corrected ASAP. The offensive line may take another week or two to jell.. I hate to say it but I told you so. The blocked field goal is inexcusable and again comes from lack of playing together... a mistake that I am sure will be corrected. Wrap up: Very impressive win for the Packers to open the season. The game was not as close as the score indicates as Green Bay should have had 10 more points if not 14. Let's see what next week brings against an inept Lions team in another must win division game. What an awesome game. -Rodgers was awesome. -Special teams played great. -defense was solid.
One of my only complaints is how McCarthy sat on the ball at the end of the game. That is just a pet peeve of mine. That, and prevent defense drives me crazy.
Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I'm an agent of chaos. And you know the thing about chaos, it's fair.
