Comments from the National Football Post

1.     You have to feel like Aaron Rodgers played well last night and that with Greg Jennings and Donald Driver, the Packers can make playing quarterback a little easier.  Jennings showed America that he is a legitimate number one wideout, with some rare down the field skills and balance.

2.     The Packers got away with linemen downfield all last year when Brett Favre would use eye contact with his wide receivers.  No one on the line knew if he was actually going to throw the ball and clearly some of the Packer opponents from last year complained to the league office, alerting the officials.  The way Favre and even Rodgers communicate with wideouts is really remarkable.  I have watched countless hours of tape to determine what they do and it is very, very difficult to detect.  I admire how they do it.

3.     Why did the Vikings go away from the cross boots and the hard play actions with Tarvaris Jackson?  The second half drive was what he does best: a little movement, a little run, and hard play action.  With the Packers, its not difficult to separate the coverage and get easier throws.  And the Vikings are going to have to get better in the red zone.  They had a chance to tie the game with a third and two and ran it.
